On January 23, 2023, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals denied Plaintiff-Appellant Brian Tingley’s petition for rehearing en banc of its prior decision, wherein the appellate court had affirmed a District Court for the Western District of Washington order dismissing Mr. Tingley’s case.
In denying the request for rehearing, the appellate court again affirmed the original dismissal by district court Judge Robert J. Bryan, which upheld the constitutionality of Washington’s law prohibiting medical providers from using conversion therapy on minor patients.
