Our very own Raegen Rasnic served as counsel for the National Center for Lesbian Rights in representing Equal Rights Washington in this federal case. This week the Court granted the NCLR’s and the Attorney General’s motion to dismiss (supported by amicus from The Trevor Project). In doing so, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington recognized that states can regulate licensed therapists to ensure that they do not subject LGBTQ+ minors to the deadly practice of conversion therapy.
