Elizabeth (“Betsy”) Hershman-Greven is a Principal of the firm. Betsy focuses her practice on a wide range of family law matters including dissolutions of marriage, domestic partnerships and Committed Intimate Relationships, complex asset divisions, parentage, parenting and child custody, child support, pre and post-nuptial agreements, and LGBT specific family law issues.
Betsy received her J.D., Magna Cum Laude, from Seattle University School of Law, and her B.A, with honors, from Indiana University. She is regularly recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by her peers.
Betsy is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Q-LAW (LGBT Bar Association of Washington), King County Collaborative Law, and the International Association of Collaborative Professionals. Betsy is a trained collaborative lawyer and mediator.
Betsy has lectured to attorneys, judges, law students, mental health professionals, and the public about various legal issues, with a particular emphasis on issues affecting unmarried and same-sex couples. She has also authored numerous legal publications on such topics.
