Mindy Carr’s practice focuses on family law, including marital and domestic partnership dissolutions, parentage actions, nonparental custody matters, and parenting plan and child support modifications. She is admitted to practice in Washington.
Before joining Skellenger Bender, Mindy practiced with several other private law firms in the areas of criminal defense, dependency, and family law. Her experience in these varied, yet often interconnected, areas of law continues to inform her current family law practice, especially in high-conflict cases involving allegations of abuse or neglect.
Mindy is an experienced litigator, as well as a trained Collaborative Law attorney. She received a B.A. in psychology from Rice University, with a particular interest in issues related to substance abuse, mental illness and domestic violence.
Mindy devotes time each year to pro bono work on legal matters that have an impact on the rights of indigent parents and others in need.
